About The Cast
Tanya Franks co-stars in BBC's award winning comedy Pulling playing Karen. Other TV includes Sandra in The Cup, Rainie in Eastenders, DCI Morell in The Bill, and Karen in Family Affairs (for which she was twice nominated for Best Actress in the TV Soap Awards). Theatre credits include Pretend You Have Big Buildings (Manchester Royal Exchange), Sing Yer Heart Out For The Lads (Royal National Theatre) and Steven Berkoff's 25th Anniversary production of East (Edinburgh and West End). Tanya is the founder and creative-producer of Stock-pot Productions. Tom Morrison made his professional stage debut playing Tibbut in Kes (Manchester Royal Exchange), going on to appear in On The Shore of the Wide World (Manchester Royal Exchange and the National Theatre). He later rejoined the National Theatre to play Scripps in The History Boys, which toured nationally before transferring to the West End. TV credits include Danny in BBC's Blackpool (nominated Network Newcomer by the Royal Television Society Awards), Terry Pratchett's The Colour Of Magic, and John Godber's Oddsquad (BBC). Film work includes Hooper in Brideshead Revisited.
Nick Malinowski's many credits at the National Theatre includes: Her Naked Skin, Shoot Get Treasure: Repeat, The Hour We Knew Nothing Of Each Other and Present Laughter. Tim Barrow trained at Drama Centre London. In Scotland he worked as an actor for 4 years in theatre, TV, film & radio, before moving to London. In 2007 he wrote, produced & starred in The Inheritance. Nominated Best UK Feature at Raindance, The Inheritance won the Raindance Award at the British Independent Film Awards, and Tim was nominated Best First Time Producer at BAFTA Scotland New Talent Awards. TV and Film credits include Taggart, Children Of The Dead End, and Richard Jobson's New Town Killers. Theatre includes work and seasons for Citizens Theatre, The Arches, Prime Productions, Theatre Enigma, Glasgow Rep and Nonsenseroom. Tim's first stage play Guy was produced at London's Pleasance Theatre. He has written plays for Shotgun - the collective set up by Tom Hardy, Robert Delamere and Brett.C. Leonard of New York's Labyrinth Theatre.
